It is situated at a dominant location overlooking Bozköy Village west of the Küçük Göllü Mountain at a lower altitude (1918-1900 m) and southwest of Hamidin Yeri Bas in Nigde Province. It was researched during the survey performed by N. Balkan-Atli et al. in 2007. Although the number of finds which is 74, is low Karatas suggests the presence of a Neolithic Age workshop that produces arrowheads and blades. The finds contain 4 bifacial tip preforms, 4 roughouts, 6 preforms, 3 cores, 4 blades, 2 crested flakes and a crested blade, and 53 flakes. Besides these a handaxe was found [Balkan-Atli et al. 2009:334]. |
