It was researched during the survey performed by N. Balkan-Atli et al. in 2007. Although the number of finds which is 74, is low Karatas suggests the presence of a Neolithic Age workshop that produces arrowheads and blades. The finds contain 4 bifacial tip preforms, 4 roughouts, 6 preforms, 3 cores, 4 blades, 2 crested flakes and a crested blade, and 53 flakes. Besides these a handaxe was found [Balkan-Atli et al. 2009:334].
