It is situated on the land between two dried out stream beds (of Sefderkan and Sülo Streams) approximately 1.5 km northwest of Kütüklü Village in Besiri District of Batman Province. The ridge's slopes slightly elevate towards the north. It was researched during the "Palaeolithic Age Survey in Ilisu Dam Reservoir Area" performed by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal. The surface material that were collected consist of 143 pieces. 27 of these are cores, the rest are remains of flakes, blades and chips. Among the cores there are many levallois cores. It is found that the cores did not go through a fine preparation phase. Most of these contain cortexes behind. These are mostly the knapped levallois cores. One of these is a classic (lineal) levallois core. Besides, there are cores in the form of disks. The Levallois cores were chipped until almost all ran out. Besides the small bladelet cores cores without any particular shapes were also found. Among the flakes, blades and bladelets the retouched specimens are rare. Some of these are levallois flakes without any retouch. Inside the area there are decortification flakes and chips in addition to flake, blade and bladelet pillars without retouch. Both the cores and the decortification flakes and flake chips suggest that knapping process took place in that area. The group of finds does not have homogenous characteristics. They can not be linked to a specific period. Although the Mid Palaeolithical elements are predominant it is a finds place utilized during various periods. (Code S62/61) [Taskiran-Kartal 2009:400].
