It is situated on both sides of the road that leads to the village, 750 m west of Kütüklü Village in the Besirli District of Batman Province. It was researched within the scope of the "Palaeolithic Age Survey at the Ilisu Dam Reservoir Area" performed by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal in 2007. The chipped stone fragments collected in this area consist of 16 cores, 27 flakes and blades. Most of the flakes do not possess any particular form or do not reflect any specific technology. But among these there are also levallois type of cores. 3 of the levallois cores are the classic type (lineal) which is a very typical form. Besides these there are also bladelet cores and single and two-sided blades. Some of the flake and blades are retouched. Among these the retouched flakes, retouched blades, jagged and denticulated edges constitute the majority. Flakes, blades and bladelets that lack the retouch are other chipped stone industrial items. The group of finds does not constitute any coherence in the sense of historical period. Yanarsu (Garzan) Valley area is one of the rarely found locations where the silex material is frequently seen. It is assumed that this valley was frequently visited during various periods in the Palaeolithical Age, particularly during Mid Palaeolithical Age and afterwards. (code S62/32) [Taskiran-Kartal 2009:399].
