It is one of the two settlements found inside the old Tigris River bank east of Helva Hill which is in Çarikli county of the center district in Diyarbakir Province. It was researched during the "Ilisu Project Ceramic Neolithic Settlements" by H. Tekin et al. in 2007. . The settlement covers an area approximately of 3.7 acres on a natural hill where "chaff tempered Chalcolithic" sherds were collected which was familiarized with during the excavations in the region besides Medieval Age and Late Assyrian sherds [Tekin 2009:280-281]. |
