It is located 2 km north of Altintepe District in Erzincan Province and known as "Kindilli Hill" by the local inhabitants. It was researched during the 2006 and 2007 surveys performed by M. Isikli et al.. The sherds collected near the illicit diggings suggest the settlement continued between EBA and Medieval Age. Two flintstone tools and obsidians found in an illicit digging on the east slope of the mound suggested that the settlement began even earlier than assumed. Among the sherds that were collected the Early Transcaucasia culture sherds which characterize East Anatolian EBA and the locally hand-made Early Iron Age sherds were particularly noted due their high amount. It is a settlement related with Altintepe due to its location [Isikli 2009:257].
