It lies 1.5 km north of Çardak Village; south of Yenisehir-Bursa; west of Yenisehir of Bursa Province. This area is locally known as Üvecik Mevkii; and the mound as Üvecik Tepe. It measures 200x10 m and there is a survey point on top. It was discovered in 1948 by K. Kökten; and investigated by K. Bittel; J. Mellaart; J. Cullberg; D.H. French and M. Özdogan. The red burnished; washed and thin washed EBA pottery and material of the second millennium BC were collected from the surface. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
