| It is situated in the Iskenderun Gulf of Hatay. It was investigated by G. Lehmann et al. in 2006. It was dated to Byzantine period [Lehmann et al. 2008:176]. The site was discovered during the construction of the ÔIssos Hotel' at the beach. Witnesses say that they saw a mosaic exposed. The site is now completely destroyed by the hotel constrution. The pottery and roof tiles visible on the beach are concentrated over a strip of 50 m [Lehmann et al. 2008:176]. |
