It is situated on a hill that overlooks the environs located between Incirli and Yolüstü Villages 1 km to the southeast of Kurika Crest in the District of Hasankeyf in Batman Province. Safane Stream flows in between the deep valley to the east of the hill. It was discovered during the Palaeolithic Age Survey at Ilisu Dam Lake Area by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal in 2006. The specimens were usually gathered on the southern slopes that lower towards the village road. It is one of the stations that revealed the highest number of chipped stone specimens in 2006. The area where the Yanarsu (Garzan) Brook meets Tigris River can be observed from this hill. The number of the chipped stones collected is 31. Out of these specimens, 14 are cores, 15 are flakes and 2 are blades. Among the finds there are Levallois cores as well. The large disc-shaped flake which was retouched on both faces by central scars (removals) is among the most typical specimens. Usually the Tigris Catchment Basin type of Levallois chipping technology is dominant. Besides these the Clactonian type of cores, flakes and blades suggest that clactonian technology was applied in the area. 2 blades were used as raw crested knives. The general features of the assemblage reflect the Lower and Middle Palaeolithic Age. Coded T63/10 [Taskiran-Kartal 2008:446-447].
