It is a crest overlooking the Tigris River between Mirzo and Dahlik streams 2 km west of Irmakköy in Hasankeyf District of Batman Province. It was discovered during the Palaeolithic Age Survey at Ilisu Dam Lake Area by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal in 2006. The number of the chipped stones collected on the plain of the crest are 22. Out of these specimens, 12 are cores, 6 are flakes, 2 are blades and 1 is a chopping tool. Although there are cores among others that show Upper Palaeolithic characteristics, and that were used in the process of producing flakes, generally the dominating specimens are Levalloiis cores from Middle Palaeolithic Age. Clactonian technology can easily be traced. Four of the flakes are of Clactonian technology and do not bear marginal retouch. A chopping tool made of a silex bulb is very typical. The findspot may in general be related with Lower and Middle Palaeolithic Age. This was coded: T63/6 [Taskiran-Kartal 2008:445].
