It is situated in the east of Mahara Crest at Kesmeköprü Village of Merkez District in Batman Province. Sinnibogaz Stream flows even during summer in between these two crests. It was discovered during the Palaeolithic Age Survey in the Ilisu Dam Area by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal in 2006. The area bears a light and smooth declination towards the northern direction. The north and south of the crest contain a large amount of stones. 67 specimens were collected. One of these is a bifacial tool. Therefore it is possible to mention a bifacila tool tradition in this area. The representation of the bifacial tools with one single specimen may be due to the tight elimination of stones on the arable lands. The other finds are 18 core specimens 35 flake specimens 10 blades, and 3 bladelets. One of the 3 bladelets was made of obsidian. The presence of the blade-bladelet technology in parallel to Levallois and clacton technologies suggest that the area was subject to visits by human groups at different periods. The general characteristics of the chipped stone group of finds does not represent a certain period. It was possible to observe specimens from Lower Palaeolithic Age to Upper Palaeolithic or Epi-Paleolithic Age. It was coded as T62/12 [Taskiran-Kartal 2008:442-443].
