It is an EBA settlement, that was founded against a hill situated 300-400 m northeast of the Ecerintepe Ancient Hittite settlement in the Araplar Plain of Kaledere County in Sungurlu District in Çorum. It was discovered during the Çorum-Çankiri Provinces Survey performed by Sipahi and Yildirim in 2006. Typical EBA sherds were collected from the slopes and skirts of the hill [Sipahi-Yıldırım 2008:281].
