It is situated in the south of Yenimahalle Village, on the Tüylüce Stream which is one of the branches of Seytandere Stream in Kirklareli. It was researched during the Kirklareli Survey performed by Özdogan et al. in 2006. The mound is contemporaneous of Asagi Pinar Mound and according to the Balkan chronology it was dated to the Neolithic Age. It bears a shallow culture soil from the settlement. The site is one of the rarities in terms of the Neolithic settlements on the Turkish Thrace [Özdogan (E) et al. 2008:265]. |
