It is observed that the mound is flattened by the continuous cultivation activities. Akhisar Plain with fertile soil is by the southern and western sides of the site. The earliest Kumtepe Ib ceramics of red-faced; burnished ware were collected from the surface. The dominant form is bowls with pierced-lugs. There are also important finds dating to the EBA and Archaic Period. It was researched again by E. Akdeniz et al. in 2007 and its dimensions were measured as 200x250 m and 11 m in height. The mound contains a large amount of EBA, MBA and LBA sherds [Akdeniz 2009:257].
