The site lies south of Ordu; north-northwest of Mesudiye; 5 km southeast of Aricilar village. No information is given about the location of the findspot; which was discovered by M. Özsait in 1991. According to him; besides a thick EBA layer; brief settlements of Chalcolithic Age and Phrygian Period exist depending on the finds at the surface. Çamaslugoglu Tepesi is an example of typical plateau settlements of Karadeniz Region. |
