The mound lies in Çakmakli Mevkii; 3.5 km west of Beynam Village; northwest of Bala District; south of Ankara. It is a little mound measuring 8.5 m in height and has a dimension of 97x100 m. It was discovered by a team conducted by S. Omura and Chalcolithic; EBA sherds collected from surface. Sherds display parallels with the ones at Höyük Beynam. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
