It is situated in the Center District of Osmaniye Province. It was researched during the Surveys at Osmaniye Province and districts by F. Tülek et al. in 2005. It is the richest mound in terms of the variety of finds, most uninterrupted and long lasting mound in terms of historic period interval when the settlement took place. Many obsidian, flintstone blades and spalls were found along with the EBA, Hellenistic, Roman and plenty of green glazed Byzantine ceramics. A lamp fragment which can be reconstructed at the mouth section, loomweights, handles, and many sherds, bases and rims were also found [Tülek 2008:306].
