It is situated 12 km south of Taskale District at Karaman Province. It was researched during the Surveys at Konya-Karaman Region by H. Bahar et al. in 2006. The fortress is at a strategic point considering the need for surveillance on the southern slopes of Incesu Valley. It is right across from Incesu Cave. Obsidian tools that were believed to be used during prehistoric ages, and sherds from EBA were found [Bahar 2008:241]. |
