| It is situated 15 km south from Taskale at Karaman Province. It was researched during the Surveys at Konya-Karaman Region by H. Bahar et al. in 2006. It is an important connection at the passage between Central Anatolia and Southern Anatolia. It is 1 km wide in East-West direction. It sits on a 300 m high, it 50 m long rock and the fortress is 500x250 m. There were setlements during EBA, 2nd Millenium BC, Roman and Byzantine Periods. There are two rock grave rooms (one complete) on the northern part of the rock where the fortress is situated on [Bahar 2008:241]. |
