| It was named after the Quarter of Asiklar, formerly called Salyali Village of Meram, which is located next to the fortress 300 m east of the Altinapa Dam Lake. It was surveyed during the Konya-Karaman Surveys conducted by H. Bahar et al. in 2006. Sherds finds from the Hellenistic and Roman Period were collected from the surface [Bahar 2008:237]. |
