It is situated 13 km east of the Senirkent District; north of the Isparta Province. It was included in the expedition route of J.R.S. Sterrett in Anatolia at the end of the 19th century. Two milestone from the Roman Period were found in the town. They should have been belonged to the Via Sebaste [Levick 1967a: 39; footnote 2]. |
