| It is situated at the Aksakli Village (former name Agsakli); 7 km southeast of the Karatay District and the Yaglibayat Village; northeast of the Konya Province. During a survey carried out under the direction of H. Bahar on behalf of the University of Selçuk in 1998-99; some architectural remains; inscribed steles and an altar dating to the Roman Period were found. It is likely that here there might have been a settlement within the territorium of the ancient city of Soatra (see Soatra). |
