It is located 50 m south of the mound near the Bagrikurt Village; north of the Selcuklu District and the Konya Province (see Bagrikurt Höyük). The 30x8 m tumulus has been destructed by illicit diggings. Present measurement of the structure under the tumulus is 1.7x1.2x1 m. A survey was conducted in 1997 by a team under the direction of H. Bahar on behalf of the University of Selçuk. The tumulus was made built by block stones and covered by a pitched roof. It is probably dated to the Classical Period. |
