The survey conducted by Diler in 1996 on the Mutat Hill of the Madran Mountain of the Çine District of the Aydin Province yielded a rectangular chamber and a dromos on the northern section of a tumulus that was looted. As the chamber is enclosed by a circular wall; where the ceiling was built sampling the wood craftmanship with large blocks; it is compared to the Belevi Mausoleum and Hierapolis kurgans. The masonry of the enclosing wall indicate the 4th century B.C. 200-250 m south of the tumulus there are qualified walls [Diler 1998:412]. |
