The survey conducted by Diler in 1996 near a tumulus-like hill; which is 10 m in height and 30-40 m in diameter; 150 m west of the Tatarmemisler Village situated on the lower slope of the Madran Mountain within the Çine District of the Aydin Province yielded a niche rock. Probably it was used for worshipping. In the vicinity; there are different types of presses carved into the rock and basins of sarchophagi to the immediate west [Diler 1998:411-412]. No dating information has been provided by the researcher. |
