It is located at the Asagikuyucak Mevkii; 600-700 m east of the Kabalar Village of the Çine District of the Aydin Province. The survey conducted by Diler in 1996 yielded remains of a farmhouse and another building. There is a burial built by big block stones on the plain ground to the west of Domuzderesi. To the west of it rises a tower with a dimension of 5.4x5.5 m and a 50 m long terrace related with agricultural activities in front of it. To the east of the same brook; a rectangular structure and a tower enclosed by Carian type of walls and some rock burials and sarcophagi were found in the vicinity. They are compared with the Hellenistic buildings on the Bodrum peninsula [Diler 1998:411]. |
