| The survey conducted by Bean and Cook in 1950s at Arapmezarligi between Dirmil and Farilya; northwest of the Bodrum District of the Mugla Province yielded architectural fragments in Ionic order; head of a horse statue; a feast relief; two inscriptions and an amphora. One of the inscriptions refer to Artemis Ephesia. Based on the text; it was dated to the Roman Imperial Period. Other inscripton is from the Byzantine Period [Bean-Cook 1955:130-131; 139-140]. |
