It was researched within the scope of "Tokat Province; Zile; and Turhal Districts Survey" by M. Özsait et al. in 2005. The team unearthed pottery finds dating to EBA at the Cilagin Hill which arises north of Igdir; and dominates the plain; inside the woods; and along the canal developed by the floods on the surface; in order to observe the consecutive settlements in whole at Igdir Plain [Özsait 2007:455].
