It is located within the Aril Village borders; of Sehit Kamil District; of Gaziantep Province. The mound was generated in the Aril village situated on the old Gaziantep-Nizip road; at an altitude of 766 m measuring 400x400x40 m. It is situated at a strategical location on the natural; ancient Zeugma road. It was researched within the scope of "Gaziantep and Adiyaman Provinces Cultural Inventory Project" by F. Kulakoglu et al. in 2005. There are material gathered around the mound dating to EBA; Late Chalcolithic; 2nd and 1st milleniums; Classical and Middle Ages. The top of the mound was tilled and then afforested. The slopes were destructed by the extensive soil excavation. And the skirts were also destructed due to extensive settlements and the mound narrows day by day [Kulakoglu 2007:328]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
