It was researched within the scope of "Gaziantep and Adiyaman Provinces Cultural Inventory Project" by F. Kulakoglu et al. in 2005. It is located within the Koçlu Village borders; of Sehit Kamil District; in Gaziantep Province. It is a mound that generated in the west of Gedikkuyu Quarter; of Koçlu Village; on the east side of the valley which is approximately 690 m high; surrounded by the mountains ahich are 840 m high. The mound at 701.24 m altitude measures 250x250x10 m. Gedik Pinar flows from the direction of the mountains; to the west of the Gedikkuyu Quarter; east of the mound; then in the south direction. The valley is also fed by Saribogsak Stream flowing on the west and south sides of the mound. The mound is known as Eskiharabe by the locals; and the researches around it revealed finds from Late Chalcolithic Age; EBA; Classical Age; Middle Age; and Late Ottoman Period. Walls of various sizes partially give away their plans on the mound which is on a very rocky land. The stones inside the fields on the southern slope were gathered in groups. Various column remains were observed on the houses and their garden walls at the slope. A seal from Late Chalcolithic Age found by the paesants was delivered to the museum. There were traces of illicit diggings and pits on the mound [Kulakoglu 2007:326-327].
