It was researched within the scope of "Adana (Ceyhan) and Kayseri (Develi) Surveys" performed by S. Girginer et al. in 2005. The larger part of the settlement which is located between Hamdili Beldesi and Erenler (Papak) Village is inside the borders of the village cemetery that is 1.2 km south from Hamdili Beldesi. It is 13 m high. The area in the south and southwest of the cemetery was destructed due to the irrigation canals; and agricultural activities. The pottery found in the mound date to Neolithic; Chalcolithic Ages; and EBA. Among the small finds that were revealed there are many obsidian tools; and manufacturing waste; three terra cotta weights; a terra cotta seal; and a miniature stone axe (Girginer 2007: 175-176).
