It was researched within the scope of "Afyonkarahisar Province and Districts Archaeological Survey" by Ö. Koçak; and A. Isik et al. in 2005. It is situated 500 m south of the Bayat New Dam Pond on a high place north of Asarcik Stream; 1 km southwest from Belencik Locality; 6 km north of Bayat. It is a highly destructed settlement. The excavation traces show that the destruction was made by a large construction equipment. Two terra cotta statuettes were found at this location possibly belonging to a bull; and a mother goddess both unheaded. The mother goddess figure was described as sitting; and there is a small puncture under the statuette possibly helping to carry the statuette on a pointing stick. In the back area of the statuette the hair of the goddess is plaited elongating to the bottom. This settlement was mainly inhabited during EBA as the partially fluted; hidden plaster; and paint decorated finds yield [Koçak-Isik 2007:360].
