It was researched within the scope of "Afyonkarahisar Province and Districts Archaeological Survey" by Ö.Koçak and A.Isik in 2005. It is also known as Tekke Yani or Aha Tekkesi. It is located to the east of the Sögütcü Özü Stream (Kayabogazi Stream); 250 m to the east of the Bayat - Iscehisar road. The settlement is 150x110 m large; spreading in north-south/east west directions. The primary assessments on the finds show that these finds are dating to Chalcolithic and EBA; in addition to Neolithic Ages. Many finds were revealecd including tools; and axes made of stone; as well as grinding stones at this location and at the Ahalarin Çesmesi 2 settlement [Koçak-Işık 2007:359]. |
