| The surveys in the region were conducted under the sponsorship of TEKDAM and financial support of the Museum of Pennnsylvania University in 1990. Several Iron Age ceramics were found at the Ramdenka Brook Mevkii and along the Batman River during these surveys, covering an area along the Batman River and its tributaries. Presence of Iron Age was identified also at Baskale, Giriharaba and Küçük Gelek Hill other than Herama Tarlasi [Rosenberg 1992:448]. |
