Located 200 m of the confluence of the Kahta Brook with the Euphrates, 3 km southwest of the Dardagan Village, east-southeast of the provincial center of Adiyaman, it has been completely flooded by the Atatürk Dam's reservoir at present. Discovered during the Lower Euphrates Basin 1977 Survey, it has a height of 8 m, and dimensions of 55x60 m. A part of the mound was cut by the Euphrates. A few chaff-tempered ware that can be dated to the Chalcolithic Age were found as well as some sherds belonging to the Iron Age, Classical Period and after. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
