| The surveys in this region were conducted in 1990 under the sponsorship of TEKDAM and financial support of the Pennsylvania University Museum. Several Iron Age ceramics were found at the Ramdenka Çay Mevkii and along the Batman River and its tributaries during the surveys. Iron Age materials were identified also at Baskale, Herema Tarlasi, and Küçük Gelek Tepe [Rosenberg 1992:448-453]. |
