It lies 10 km northeast of the Silopi District in Sirnak. Measuring 170x200x2 m in dimensions, it is also called Girik Tahti. A road crosses over the mound. Intense cultivation activities are observed around the mound, and many beehives have been placed on it. Following eras were identified based on the sherds collected from the surface: - Halaf Period - Ubaid Period - Early 2nd Millennium BC - Early Iron Age - Neo-Assyrian Period - Middle Age [Kozbe 2006b: 296-297]. |
