| It lies 12 km west of Ivrindi District; 36 km west-southwest of Balikesir Province. Kökten reported the presence of a pithos grave dating back to the EBA. According to him; a pestle with a pointed handle made of volcanic rock was recovered [Kökten 1949:817]. The cemetery probably belongs to the Yortan Culture. |
