| It lies 14.9 km southeast of the Kozan District, northeast of the provincial center of Adana. It is a flat mound with a height of 3-4 m. Sherds known as Coba ware were found during the survey conducted in 1951 by M.V. Seton-Williams. It appears that the mound had been inhabited from the Neolithic Age to the Roman Period, except the Early Bronze Age [Seton-Williams 1954:130-153]. |
