The mound lies southwest of Antalya; 8 km northeast of Elmali; 1.5 km south of Karaburun; on an elevation known as Çeçetepe. The depositional layer is 10 cm thick. Its eastern part is cut by the Korkuteli-Elmali Road. A stream flows near the site. Late Chalcolithic Age sherds; contemporary with Bagbasi; were collected below the 5th century tumulus in 1967 and 1972. |
