It lies in Zoran Mevkii near Dirsekli Village; 3.5 km north of Cizre District of Sirnak Province. It lies to the east of the Tigris River near Ayn Ses 1. The mound measures 160 m in diameter, and 16 m in height, and it has been used as a sand quarry. It was splitted into two, and destroyed. Also used as a dumping and debris area, the eastern section of the mound has been already cultivated. In addition to sherds, finds like stone vessels, grind stones, obsidian and flintstones were collected from the mound. Several Iron Age sherds decorated with rope and nail-impressions, and carinated Late Bronze Age bowls with everted rims were found particularly in the destroyed mid-section of the mound. Even tough fragments of big storage jars decorated with relief bands dating to the 2nd Millennium BC are easily discerned, there are also profiles from uncertain periods, but they should have been dating to later periods [Kozbe 2006b:294].
