| It is located 4 km southwest of the Kozlu Village; Kagizman District of Kars Province; on the south part of a hill of 1976 m in altitude. It was researched within the scope of "Erzincan; Erzurum; Kars and Igdir Provinces" by Alpaslan Ceylan et al. in 2005. There are graves showing the EIA characteristics just at the skirts of the settlement area; and elliptic planned structures at its west. The settlement was researched based on the pottery found dating to EBA; Early and Mid Iron Age; and Middle Age; and it was found that that the Middle Age items showed characteristics of an earlier period; on the other hand the area was used for settlement then; and presently it is being used as an agricultural area [Ceylan 2007:169-170]. |
