It lies immediate north of Sariz-Afsin motorway; 570 m east of Büyük Örtülü Village; 18.9 km east of Sariz District of Kayseri. It is 50x100 m in dimensions and partly 30 m in height. It is slope settlement on a rock that its northern part is rather steep. A stream flows north of it. The site was investigated during the survey conducted by K.S. Girginer in 2004 and potsherds of Chalcolithic; EBA and late periods were found. Besides these; there were also obsidian and flint tools collected [Girginer et al. 2006:297]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
