It lies 1 km northwest of Daridere Village; 4.5 km south of Sariz District of Kayseri. It is 30x50 m in dimensions and 20 m in height. It lies south of Sariz River. It fits the bedrock. The site was investigated during the survey conducted by K.S. Girginer in 2004 and potsherds of EBA and 2nd millennium BC were found. Among the finds there are black burnished ware; brownish buff pots and pots with bevelled out rims take place. There were also flint and obsidian blades collected [Girginer et al. 2006:296]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
