It lies 560 m west of Kurudere Village; 17.3 km southwest of Sariz District of Kayseri. Sariz River flows to the south of the site. There is a tumulus that has been disturbed by illicit diggers at this area. The site was investigated during the survey conducted by K.S. Girginer in 2004 and potsherds of Chalcolithic were found. There were also lots of obsidian and gargoyle tools and their fragments [Girginer et al. 2006:295]. |
