It lies on a ridge 1 km north of Tigris River; 1.5 km northeast of Kesmeköprü Village; southeast of Batman. Palaeolithic chipped stone tools were densely found during the survey conducted by H. Taskiran in 2004. There are 10 biface tools; 12 cores and 14 flake-blades among the finds. They are generally dated to Lower Palaeolithic and partly Middle Palaeolithic.
