It lies about 23 km east of Emirdag; northeast of Afyonkarahisar Province. It is located southeast of Bolvadin and 100 m west of Bolvadin-Çay motorway. It was identifed as an EBA II settlement by J. Mellaart; and included in the Akarçay Group. It is unknown if Uçhöyük only shown a few km southwest of the village in the map prepared and published by the Afyon Archaeological Museum is the same site discovered by J. Mellaart. Both maps illustrate the same point. A terra cotta idol recovered from Bolvadin is exhibited at the Afyon Archaeological Museum. Only the upper part is left. The hands were placed on both sides of the head as if praying. There are parallel lines on the neck. The eyes and mouth were depicted again by incisions. The settlement visited by Ö. Koçak in 2002. It is reported that; the mound consist of three hills forming a triangle is destructed by agriculture and the hills became sharply pointed because of this. Koçak has collected Chalcolithic finds from the mound as well as the EBA ones. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In 2012, the mound was re-visited during the survey conducted by Koçak and his team. The materials were collected from three areas of the mound: the north skirt, the summit and the south skirt. It was reported that the material belonging to MBA has commonly seen on the mound. Among these MBA material, there are spouted pitcher sherds, carinated pots and large pithos sherds. The mound yielded findings belonging to EBA and Roman Period as well. EBA wares consist of well made pots. During the studies, a baked clay amulet (?) with impressed decoration was found. The amulet measures 55x34.5x10.5 mm. This find was delivered to Afyonkarahisar Archaeological Museum [Koçak 2014:81].
