This site is south of the city of Burdur; approximately 6.5-7 km northwest of the village of Bademagaci in the Bucak Township; east-southeast of the village of Bogazköy. The site is by the Burdur-Antalya highway; near the village of Bogazköy at the southern border of Burdur Province. The Palaeolithic artifacts recovered at this site are not associated with this city. The Palaeolithic finds were discovered by S. Mitchell while he was conducting research in the ancient city of Panemoteichos in 1995. Although Mitchell has published drawings of all 7 Palaeolithic tools he found in the ancient city dating to the first millennium BC; he has not described their typological characteristics. He places the finds chronologically between the Karain Cave and the Neolithic site of Bademagaci and assigns them to the Epipalaeolithic Period. The size of the tools is questionable because the drawings were not accompanied by a scale. It is difficult to categorize the site as a habitation site because the find method of the artifacts is not mentioned [Mitchell 1997:50].
