It lies in Kirantarla Mevkii; 5 km west of Çardakli Village; southwest of Mesudiye Distirct of Ordu Province. There is a tumulus nearby the mound. The mound locates on a natural hill and there is on other elevation formed by the extension of the settlement. The main settlement is 15 m inheight and 180 m in diameter and the smaller elevation is 2 m in hegiht and 4 m in diameter. The mound is covered with pine trees. It was investigated by M. Özsait during 2003 season survey and potsherds dated to EBA and Iron Age were found. |
