| It is a small cave on a slope overlooking Tigris River; immediate east of Everci Quarter; sout-southwest of Batman Province. It is locall known as Altin Magara. Flint chipped stone fragments and potsherds are collected infront of the cave and on the steep slopes declining with a steep slope towards Tigris; during the survey conducted by H. Taskiran in 2003. Flint finds are dated to Chalcolithic and later periods and potsherds dated to Late Roman/Byzantine Period and Medieval. Survey code is S61/51. |
