Location: This cave site lies in the village of Dülük; 11 km north of the city of Gaziantep.
Geography and Environment: The dimensions of this cave have not been published (See the site of Dülük for more geological information).
History:
Research and Excavation: Enver Yasar Bostanci; who discovered this site; excavated in and around this cave as part of the Dülük Region Research Project. Palaeolithic tools were found beside the entrance of the cave and in the terraces around it. The excavation at this site produced mixed layers where Upper Palaeolithic tools were found together with historic material. It is not indicated what period the "later" pottery dates to. Because this disturbed layer was very thick; excavations here were terminated and moved to the nearby Sarkli Cave. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Stratigraphy:
Small Finds: The characteristics of the Upper Palaeolithic chipped stone tools found during the excavation of this cave site have not been published.
